throughout the State of Wisconsin for general obligation financings including general obligation bonds and promissory notes for new projects and refunding transactions. The Firm also serves as bond counsel to cities, villages and special districts on revenue bond transactions for sewer and water improvements. As bond counsel, the Firm supervises the debt authorization process, drafts appropriate resolutions and closing documents for the issuance of the debt obligations and coordinates the closing of the transaction with the issuer, the issuer’s financial advisor and the purchaser of the debt obligation.
School Finance
Griggs Law Office LLC serves as bond counsel to school districts throughout the State of Wisconsin on their long-term general obligation capital financings, refunding transactions and short-term cash flow borrowings. 
As part of its bond counsel service to school districts the Firm regularly works with school districts on bond referendums required to authorize long-term general obligation debt. As bond counsel, the Firm supervises the debt authorization process (including the bond referendum when applicable), drafts appropriate resolutions and closing documents for the issuance of the debt obligations and coordinates the closing of the transaction with the issuer, the issuer’s financial advisor and the purchaser of the debt obligation. The Firm also assists school districts on revenue cap referendums. As part of its school finance practice, the Firm also serves as bond counsel to Wisconsin technical colleges on their long-term general obligation capital financings including the supervision of bond referendums when required.
